Tidy at last!

We are delighted to report that the garden is now tidy for winter. We have worked so hard over the last six weeks to improve our grounds. We look forward to the Spring when we will start to grow vegetables.

The Gardener of the Week  is Kelisse Hayes and the Photographer of the Week is Mitchell McCullagh.

Finally, our Gardener of the Month is Mrs Martin. Thank you so much for all of your help and advice! We couldn't have done it without you! :)

We look forward to seeing you all on the 7th March!

Autumn is Here!

As you know, Autumn is Harvest Time and we had a lovely treat to start our Gardening Session. Mrs Martin had made two apple crumbles from our harvested apples but they didn't last long! We all really enjoyed our slice.

This week, Ellie set us a challenge to clear the whole path leading up to the garden as it was overgrown and had weeds coming up through the slabs. We almost finished the task before a very heavy shower came down so we will continue this task after the October Week.

We continued to clear the raised beds and the overgrown permiters of the garden but if anyone could give us advice on how to tackle waist high grass, that would be really helpful.

We are delighted to announce that our Gardener of the Week is Sarah and our special award for Gardener of the Month goes to Millie! Both girls have worked very hard week after week. Well done, girls!
